Playpen Nursery

General information

Playpen Nursery has been established since 1989. Our staff are dedicated to providing high quality care and pre-school education to your child. The nursery has a 'play room', a 'messy room' a 'pre-school room' and a large, enclosed and well equipped outdoor play area. Children have free, supervised access to all three rooms and flexible access to the garden. The nursery is also well placed for regular walks to the local parks and woodlands.

We currently offer full and part-time places to children from the age of 18 months - 5 yrs. Prices are as follows;

18 months - 2 yrs (full week) - £155.00
2 yrs - 3 yrs (full week) - £145.00
3 yrs - 5 yrs (full week) - £140.00

Qualifying children aged 3-5 will also receive government pre-school funding.

We also provide drop-in and emergency childcare to non-registered children, at short notice. This can be handy for when you are stuck for childcare, for hospital appointments or even shopping. The cost of this service is £5.00 per hour, please phone or email for more details or to make a booking.
