General information

Based in Rugby, Warwickshire, TDT Technology Ltd was incorporated in 1993 following the closure of Duplomatic UK Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Italian Tool Turret manufacturer – Duplomatic Spa. TDT’s Managing Director, Simon Hewson, was granted the exclusive agency agreement for Duplomatic Automation products covering both sales and service for the UK and Ireland and has held the agency ever since.

During the boom period in UK machine tool manufacturing through the mid-to-late nineties, TDT started adding value to the Duplomatic product range by supplying turnkey packages of indexing turrets, VDI tooling and associated tool holders to the machine tool manufacturers in the United Kingdom. As the UK machine tool market changed the Directors of TDT looked for complementary product lines and services to supply and entered into an exclusive agency agreement with Repar2 Machine Guards of Italy in 1998.

Today TDT Technology Ltd is the official UK & Ireland importer, sales distributer and service agent for a host of machine-tool-sector related manufacturers producing some of the most technologically advanced products and systems in the world.
