Thomas Johnstone began trading in Maybole in Ayrshire as a jobbing joiner in 1868. Now, almost 150 years later, Thomas Johnstone Ltd is established as one of the UKs leading names in high quality Fit-Out and Joinery Manufacture, with offices in London and Edinburgh and the Head Office/Factory at Inchinnan near Glasgow.

TJL has maintained its tradition of personal service to ensure our customers’ expectations are exceeded at all times.

Through the years TJL have developed a service offering in response to client’s requirements, enabling more specialist trades to be controlled under the TJL umbrella.

TJL have developed an enviable reputation for consistently delivering high quality projects and continually see a significant proportion of business come from repeat customers and through referrals, across a broad range of sectors throughout the UK.

TJL now employs over 150 staff and has an annual turnover of approximately £35m.
