At FJ Need (foods) Limited we pride ourselves on the quality of our cheese and the service that we offer. With 38 years experience we believe that we have found the right combination. The family run business was established in 1973 by the late John Need and is now currently run by his son and daughter Paul and Tracey Need. After 21 years of expansion and development the company moved to Spinneyfields Farm, situated in the heart of dairy land on the outskirts of Nantwich in Cheshire.

Behind its rural appearance, Spinneyfields Farm hides some of the latest technology with a purpose built state of the art grating line. Our ranges of grated and diced products have been specially formulated for the pizza, manufacturing, catering and wholesale markets.

Through this growth we have begun to venture into new markets such as our sister company, The Salt Company (1995), and more recently trading into the Sauce, Butter and Mayonnaise markets. Our consistent passion and determination has now led us to launch our very own special recipe, By Giovanni Bisogno, set to be revealed in early September.
