General information
Convert Technologies was founded in 2013 with the goal of revolutionising how people enjoy their music and film collection. They began by presenting the world with the Plato range. This range of four models demonstrated that it’s possible for a music fan to have all their hifi equipment in a straightforward, one-box solution. Convert’s pioneering anti-biasing technology enabled Plato Class A to be the first media streamer with an integrated class A amplifier.
After the international success of Plato Class A, Convert grew in leaps and bounds and created their most high end product to date; Tempus. With superior sound quality and a choice of carbon fibre or veneer finish, Tempus is the king of hifi.
In 2017, Convert Technologies began to take their world leading software out of Plato and put it to other uses. This saw the subsequent launch of their Vinyl Recorder and CD Ripper apps, the former of the two being a world first. At IFA 2017, Convert also launched their new selection of analogue and digital streamers: the Nexus range.
