General information

As the leading business membership organisation in Dundee & Angus and part of the worldwide long-established Chamber of Commerce brand, we help local businesses to connect, communicate and develop for business benefit. We represent over 500 members who between them employ over 35000 people.

We provide a strong voice for business to opinion formers, run a lively annual programme of topical events and help promote Dundee & Angus as a world-class destination. We are member-led, with a varied membership base that spans the private, public and third sectors.
Our Board – the President, Vice-Presidents and non-executive Directors - are drawn from and elected by members. The Board sets strategic direction and has overall responsibility for ensuring good governance and viability of the business. The day to day running of the chamber is led by the Chief Executive with a small team of skilled and experienced staff.
We are an independent and not-for-profit private limited company and receive no public subsidy or funding. Income comes entirely from member subscriptions and commercial activities.
